I came across a list of Billboard's Top 25 Dance Singles Sales Artists for the Decade. Congratulations to Lara who came in Number 17! I am assuming this was for "I Will Love Again." Here's a fair copy of her music video of "I Will Love Again (with Portugese subtitles).

This video gives some great examples of the extent of Lara's talent. She is absolutely amazing! What a fabulous entertainer she is. Just when I think I've seen the best of her, I find another video that I like even better. Considering her talent and versatility, she has to be near the top of the list of the best singers in the world, if not at the top. For me she is the best in the world!

A Love Song From Her Fans

In 2002 Lara's fans showed deep appreciation and love for Lara and her music when they spontaneously began singing Je T'aime, leaving Lara emotional and speechless through much of the song. This must have been in Belgium, though I don't know for sure. Very touching to watch!

This song, Yeliel (My Angel), is from Lara's CD album Lara Fabian(2000). It was written by Lara who believes that angels walk among us. Lara, you call us (your fans) "angels" and to many of us, you are truly an angel because of the beauty and joy that you bring into our lives. There is certainly no doubt in my mind that you sing as one.

Filming of "Mademoiselle Zhivago" Delayed

According to Lara Fabian News, Lara was due to Arrive in the Ukraine today to begin filming of Mademoiselle Zhivago. Filming has now been delayed to April 2010 because of the flu epidemic in that country.

Lara Fabian to Star in Musical Film

Lara Fabian will arrive in the Ukraine on November 2nd to begin filming "Mademoiselle Zhivago." More information is available here.

Lara Fabian Releases New Album in English!

Earlier this month Lara released her third English language album Every Woman in Me, currently only available at her concerts. This CD follows the same concept as her French album released 6 months ago, Toutes les Femmes en Moi. This one is a collection of cover versions of English-speaking songs that Lara feels have influenced her music and her life. They are recorded with a single piano. These are the eleven tracks:

One of the things I really like about Lara is her humble nature. I think this video just posted on YouTube shows it her in genuine exchanges with fans in Russia where she signed autographs on June 3, 2009. Lara sings a lovely version of "Wind Beneath my Wings" in the background.

This is Lara's very recent performance of Adagio in Brussels on September 25, 2009. I have been reading some comments that her voice has changed since the birth of her daughter late in 2007. Apparently Lara has not been performing and singing as much on a regular basis since then. This is a lovely performance that should silence any critics, no doubt about it!
